How to Specify Mosser Type AT and CT Valves
  • Valves shall be of the butterfly type, suitable for throttling air and gas and providing shut-off with minimum leakage.
  • Valve bodies shall be of cast iron to ASTM Specification A126 Class B, with a wall thickness not less than that specified for Class 125 fittings in ANSI Specification B16.1. Valves shall have disc and shaft constructed of carbon steel.
  • Valves shall have N.P.T female threaded-end connections, suitable for connection to mating pipe threads.
  • Valves shall be suitable for differential pressures to 25 psi and for temperatures to 350oF.
  • Operation shall be by means of a hand lever.
